## Working with Wavect in Vienna

Vienna gives Wavect one practical advantage: Christof is based here. A board review or hiring panel can happen on-site without turning the retainer into an open-ended presence contract.

The city runs an international startup ecosystem. ViennaUP reported more than 14,000 participants from over 90 countries across 65 events in 2026. That says something about the density and international reach of the ecosystem. It does not prove that every Vienna startup is funded, regulated, or ready for a CTO.

### Does Wavect have a Vienna office?

Christof is based in Vienna; Wavect GmbH is registered in Ampass, Tirol. We do not present a founder’s location as a separate company office. Day-to-day work is remote, and useful on-site sessions are quoted separately.

### Can you join a board or investor technical review in Vienna?

Yes, as part of an agreed scope. We can explain architecture, delivery risk, security work, hiring, and the remediation plan. We do not manufacture a clean bill of health. If the evidence is weak, the board gets the weak evidence and a plan to fix it.
