## Working with Wavect in Zurich

The Canton of Zurich describes a high-tech ecosystem spanning AI, computer vision, quantum computing, autonomous systems, engineering, and university spin-offs. ETH Zurich reported 37 new spin-offs in 2024, with AI and biotechnology strongly represented.

Research strength does not automatically produce product clarity. A team can have defensible technology and still need to decide which customer problem, workflow, evidence, and market sequence deserve the next investment.

That is the CPO scope. We own customer evidence and prioritization after product-market fit. We do not claim Swiss legal expertise, a Zurich office, or local clients we cannot name.

1. **Reconstruct customer evidence** - Review interviews, usage, pilots, sales, research claims, partner requests, and assumptions currently presented to investors or the board.
2. **Choose the product proof** - Define the target workflow, buyer, outcome, and next evidence threshold.
3. **Create the research-to-product cadence** - Set discovery, prioritization, roadmap review, and rules for when technical exploration earns product investment.

### Can you help a research spin-off before product-market fit?

Not as a fractional CPO. We can run a fixed discovery scope or a [Fractional Co-Founder](/services/fractional-cofounder/) engagement, but we will not claim a post-PMF product-leadership model fits before market evidence exists.

### Do you work in CHF and on-site in Zurich?

EUR is the default and CHF is available on request. Day-to-day work is remote. Paid on-site discovery or roadmap sessions can be planned by rail from Tirol; Wavect has no Zurich office.
