Honest answers about blockchain delivery

End any week, with one message. No notice period, no exit interview, no fine print. We invoice weekly, so the most you’re ever committed to is the current week.
It’s in your contract: tell us, and we refund that week. No questions, no invoices to dispute, no calls to escalate. The only rule: refunds apply to the most recent week.
Because hours are the wrong metric. If we’re optimizing for hours billed, we’re not optimizing for your outcome. The deal is simpler: every week, we earn the next one. If we don’t, you don’t pay. We’re free to spend zero hours or sixty. What matters is whether you’re blown away.
We work with operators, not lottery winners. If a request would require breaking physics, the law, or a third party’s systems, we say so, and if we can’t align, we walk. The guarantee is mutual: you can fire us any week; we can also fire ourselves.
Both. We start from audited, battle-tested patterns (OpenZeppelin, Account Abstraction reference implementations) whenever we can. We write custom smart contracts when the use case is genuinely novel. Greenfield is sometimes necessary, but starting from production-proven code is almost always the safer and cheaper path.
Three-layer approach: defensive coding patterns, comprehensive Foundry/Hardhat test suites with invariant and fuzz testing, then third-party audit before mainnet for anything custodial. We budget audit time and cost into the project plan from day one, not as an afterthought.
Yes, and that’s where most of the value is. Account Abstraction (EIP-4337), social logins, gasless transactions, and embedded wallets make Web3 feel like Web2. We’ve built MetaMask Snaps, AA wallets, and hybrid backends that abstract crypto complexity away from end users while keeping the on-chain integrity.
EVM: Ethereum L1, L2s (Optimism, Arbitrum, Base, Polygon), and zkSync. Non-EVM: Solana, NEAR, Internet Computer, and others where the customer’s users actually are. We’re chain-agnostic: we’ll tell you when ‘we should be on chain X’ is right and when it’s tribalism that costs you users.
A focused ERC-20/NFT deployment with custom logic and a thin dApp: €15-35k including mainnet rollout. A DeFi protocol with custodial logic, integrations, and a third-party audit: €60-150k+ depending on audit scope (Trail of Bits and OpenZeppelin land in different price tiers). Production-grade AA wallets, bridges, or new L1/L2 infrastructure: €100k+ and 3-6 months. We quote audit, gas-optimization passes, and post-launch monitoring inside the proposal so the number you sign is the number you pay.
When centralised infrastructure already solves the problem. When the only reason on the table is ‘investors want a token.’ When user UX would suffer from a wallet handshake and you can’t justify it with a real value transfer. When the data doesn’t need to be censorship-resistant, publicly verifiable, or interoperable with other on-chain systems. We turn down blockchain projects that don’t pass that filter. It’s cheaper for everyone.
On EVM: private mempools (Flashbots Protect, MEV Blocker), commit-reveal schemes where ordering matters, batch auctions for swaps, and slippage controls with sane defaults. For protocols handling real volume we route critical transactions through Flashbots bundles to prevent inclusion attacks. We also model adversarial scenarios in Foundry invariants. MEV is not theoretical, we treat it as a first-class threat from day one.
