INDUSTRY // E-COMMERCE
E-commerce engineering that moves the P&L, not just the storefront.
A ~50% efficiency gain (client-reported) on a working Shopify business with more than ten storefronts, without a rewrite. On-chain loyalty primitives added to a live marketplace without the user ever seeing crypto. A drop checkout benchmarked at 1,000+ concurrent users with real money flowing through it, and a multi-chain Point-of-Sale checkout for shops, restaurants, and hotels. E-commerce work is judged in operations and conversion, and that is where we aim.
Book a thirty-minute call“The most dangerous sentence in e-commerce engineering is 'let's replatform'. Most shops need the right ten moves on the stack they already run.”
What we build in this industry
MyMerch is a German merchandise and print-on-demand brand selling through more than ten Shopify storefronts. No rewrite, no replatforming theatre. We made the right moves on the existing stack: fulfilment and process automation that reduced delivery errors, storefront work that lifted conversion. The client reports a roughly 50% efficiency gain across the operation.
Afoma is a live marketplace that wanted Web3 features without alienating users who do not know what a wallet is. Social login, invisible wallet creation, on-chain primitives under a normal shopping experience.
Two more commerce builds round it out. LivLive runs drop-based selling, so we built and benchmarked its checkout at 1,000+ concurrent users with zero degradation, with real money flowing through it. ScramblePay is a multi-chain Point-of-Sale and web checkout that drops into online shops and handles on-site payments in restaurants, hotels, and bars.
The common thread: e-commerce businesses run on thin margins and live operations. The engineering that matters is the kind that shows up in error rates, fulfilment speed, and checkout conversion, not in a tech-stack announcement.
Operations & storefront optimization
The MyMerch shape: automate fulfilment, kill recurring errors, lift storefront conversion, on the platform you already run. Measured against your numbers, not ours.
Custom commerce features
Loyalty systems, marketplace mechanics, payment flows beyond what plugins do, including on-chain features your customers never have to understand.
Spike-proof commerce builds
Drop-based and campaign-driven selling concentrates a month of traffic into an hour. We have benchmarked a custom checkout at 1,000+ concurrent users with zero degradation.
What makes this industry hard
Plugin stacks hit a ceiling
Shopify and friends get you far, then every new requirement becomes three conflicting apps and a manual workaround. The fix is usually surgical custom code, not a replatform.
Fulfilment errors compound quietly
A 2% error rate is invisible in a dashboard and very visible in your support inbox and margins. Process automation is the least glamorous, highest-ROI engineering in commerce.
Traffic is spiky by design
Marketing creates the spike, engineering has to absorb it. Checkouts that flatten under drop-day load turn your best marketing into your worst week.
