Jörg has spent the last twenty-five years inside institutional asset management. Frankfurt, London, Vienna, Hamburg. Director Austria at Union Investment, Head of Third Party Relationship Management at Berenberg, institutional sales roles at KBC and ELEVA Capital. He has structured allocations, raised mandates, and sat opposite the people who actually move capital.
Today he runs alpha strategies GmbH out of Gmunden, applying the same institutional discipline to private mandates of €2,000,000 and above. The two house strategies are Stable Conservative and Stable Dynamic. Both are built around low-correlation diversification, an alternatives sleeve alongside traditional securities, and a defined drawdown frame so the client knows the worst case before they sign. Execution runs through LLB Österreich custody in partnership with FMA-regulated Omicron Investment Management.
He is the analyst who will tell a prospective client that their portfolio is not the problem. That the structure under it is. He guest-lectures at the Wiener Börsenakademie because he believes investors deserve to understand what their money is actually doing. He will not take a mandate he cannot explain on one page.
