In their own line of work
Dragan started in IT in 1998, at Data Systems Austria, where he spent eight years in professional and managed IT services. In 2006 he moved into consulting at IRIAN Solutions in Vienna, and in 2010 he founded oneStep2 in Innsbruck, the firm he still runs today. The throughline across all of it is the unglamorous, load-bearing part of software: the infrastructure it runs on and the security that keeps it standing.
At oneStep2 the work is IT security and L7 firewalling, Linux and open source, monitoring and infrastructure, endpoint protection, networks, private cloud, and managed services. Dragan works as Senior Security Consultant, Solution Architect, and Software and Infrastructure Architect, and is a Linux Professional. He also builds product: SNOOSS, oneStep2’s next-generation security network operations platform, the tactus monitoring suite, and OS2HOG, a gateway that lets people use their company workplace from home with nothing but a browser, no company laptop and no VPN.
That is what Wavect rents when we bring Dragan in on a build that needs more than application code: production infrastructure, a real security review, or operations that keep running after launch. His own company motto, “Es gibt immer eine Lösung”, there is always a solution, is a fair summary of how he works the problem.

When a Wavect build needs infrastructure that holds up in production and not just on a laptop, Dragan designs and stands up the networks, servers, and operations. 28 years of doing exactly this, from managed services at Data Systems Austria to running his own infrastructure firm, is what we are bringing in.
Security review, hardening, and penetration testing
Before a launch, when the question is whether the thing is actually safe to ship, Dragan runs the security review, the hardening, and the penetration testing. IT security and L7 firewalling are the core of what oneStep2 does every day, not a side skill.
DevOps, monitoring, and managed operations
Keeping what we ship running. Monitoring, DevOps automation, and managed operations so a product does not quietly fall over after the build is done. Dragan built oneStep2's own monitoring stack (tactus) and runs operations for enterprise clients.
Self-hosted, private cloud, and Linux open-source infrastructure
When a build needs to run on its own infrastructure for sovereignty or cost, with no vendor lock-in, this is Dragan's home ground. Linux, open source, private cloud, VPN, and identity (LDAP, MFA, SSO, NAC) are the stack he has worked in for decades.
