The two of us cover most builds. When a brief calls for depth our own bench does not carry, we bring in one of these specialists. They are not Wavect employees. They are people we have actually shipped with. The engagement still runs through Wavect.
We do not stock interchangeable platform engineers competing for your brief. Each category in the network has exactly one holder. If we do not have your category, we tell you instead of pretending.

This is not the full network. It's the public, live cut. Vetted and currently bookable. We keep it short on purpose. One bad experience with a holder and they are removed. No second chances. No quiet warnings.

Two people don't cover every domain. For specialist depth, we pull from a network we've shipped with. Not LinkedIn intros, not marketplaces.
How we vet
- Shipped with us first. Every specialist worked a paid engagement under our review before going on yours. No first-time bets at your expense.
- Reference-checked with prior clients. If we wouldn't hire them ourselves, we don't bring them to you.
- Senior floor: 8+ years post-grad in their domain, with production work we've personally reviewed. Not a CV claim.
- Paid trial on a real slice of the project before they touch a critical path. Drops out fast if the work doesn't hold.
When we pull a specialist in
- Failure mode is irreversible. Security, financial, regulatory. Bugs that can't be patched after launch.
- Spotting the failure mode takes 5+ years. ZK proofs, LLM evals, audit-grade cryptography, hardware/firmware, anywhere the wrong answer looks right at first glance.
- The architecture decision locks you in for 18+ months. Worth a second pair of senior eyes before the bet gets made.
