WAVECT vs SCLABLE

Wavect or Sclable. An enterprise transformation studio with a consulting-first process, or a senior product team that ships.

Sclable combines advisory, design and engineering for large organisations: 50-plus specialists, 120-plus B2B projects, ÖBB and voestalpine on the published roster, and a structured Frame, Discover, Shape, Build, Evolve process. We are a small senior team that gets to working software fast, with the product call included. Aligning a large organisation is their job. Shipping a product is ours.

The real difference, in practice

Sclable describes itself as an AI and digital transformation studio: the skills of a strategic advisory, the creativity of a design agency, and the experience of a tech company, in their own words. For a large organisation, that combination is the point. When five departments disagree about what digital even means, a structured process like their Frame, Discover, Shape, Build, Evolve, and diagnostics like their Workflow Intelligence offer, earn their fee by creating alignment before anyone writes code.

The roster matches the method: ÖBB, Rail Cargo Group, voestalpine, Österreichische Post, Palfinger, per their published references. These are organisations where the consulting layer is not overhead, it is the work.

We are built for a different buyer. A founder or product team does not need an alignment process; they need the product call made quickly by someone senior, and then code in production. Our discovery is a fixed-price engagement from €3,500 measured in days, both founders sit on every call, and the build runs on weekly outcomes you can cancel any week. Scope pushback replaces the strategy deck.

If your organisation needs to be aligned before it can be served, Sclable’s process is honest value. If you need a product shipped and judged senior-to-senior, see how we build AI products.

When each is the better call

// 01

When Wavect is the better call

  • You already know roughly what to build and need senior judgement plus execution, not organisational alignment.
  • You want code in production in weeks, with discovery measured in days and a fixed price from €3,500.
  • The decision-maker is in the room: founder, product lead, or a department head with budget authority.
  • You want weekly outcomes you can cancel any week instead of a studio program.
// 02

When Sclable is the better call

  • You are a large organisation where stakeholders disagree, and alignment is genuinely the first deliverable.
  • You want workflow diagnostics and service design across departments before committing to a build.
  • Your transformation spans strategy, design and engineering and needs one studio accountable for all three.
  • Enterprise references like ÖBB and voestalpine matter to your stakeholders.

If the organisation needs aligning first, Sclable's process is the honest buy. If the product needs shipping, talk to us.

FAQs

Half and half. Both shops build custom software with AI. But their published method and client list put the centre of gravity on enterprise transformation, where consulting and design precede the build. Ours is on shipping products for founders and product teams. The overlap is real, the typical buyer is not.
We do product strategy as part of the job: what to build, what to kill, build-or-buy. We do not run multi-stakeholder transformation programs or organisation-wide workflow diagnostics. If that is the need, a studio like Sclable is shaped for it.
For a focused product build, almost certainly us, because nothing precedes the code except a days-long discovery. That is not a knock on their process: alignment work exists because large organisations fail without it. Speed is only a virtue when the direction is already decided.
Nothing stops you, and we have no view on their pricing since none is published. The honest question is whether you need 50 specialists and a five-phase method, or two founders and a senior build team. Pay for the structure your problem actually has.
