WAVECT vs CRYPTIX

# Wavect or Cryptix. A Web3 venture builder with licensing and treasury inside its scope, or a senior product team you hire for the build.

Cryptix publishes an end-to-end venture-building scope: regulatory and licensing support including MiCA, MiFID II and E-Money, DAO and token governance, RWA tokenization, crypto treasury, C-suite-as-a-service, and a build step whose squads ship in two-week increments. We publish a narrower scope. We are the senior product and engineering team you hire to design and build the software, and we do not sell licensing, treasury or DAO structuring at all. So the question is not who is stronger, it is which scope you are actually buying.

Independent comparison published by Wavect. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Cryptix AG.

Illustrative buyer scenario, not a customer quotation

Both published scopes include the build. The question worth putting to either vendor is who is named on delivery, who carries the ship date, and what they are paid to increase.

TL;DR

Cryptix is a Zug venture builder with real licensing, treasury and DAO depth. We are the senior team that ships the product. If the hard part is regulatory structure, Cryptix fits. If it is shipping, the comparison shifts.

## Decision snapshot

VerdictThe practical split: Cryptix publishes a venture-building scope with licensing, treasury and structure alongside the build. [1](#cmp-src-1) [2](#cmp-src-2) We publish product and engineering only. Buy on scope, and ask both of us the same delivery questions.

### Wavect is best when

- Your gap is execution. You need the product designed, built and shipped by senior people, fast.
- You want to keep cash and control. No equity, cancel any week, own the code.
- You already have legal and licensing handled, or do not need them yet, and want engineering that moves.

### The alternative is best when

- Your hardest problem is regulatory: a MiCA, MiFID II or E-Money licensing route, crypto treasury, or a DAO and token governance structure. Cryptix lists all of those on its services page and we sell none of them. [1](#cmp-src-1)
- You want one partner across regulatory, technology and operations rather than a single-scope vendor. Cryptix publishes exactly that end-to-end shape, including directors and COO, CTO, CLO and CISO as a service. [1](#cmp-src-1)
- You are a family office or an institution stepping on-chain and need the corporate, licensing and compliance scaffold as part of the same engagement. [1](#cmp-src-1)

### Questions to ask before you choose

1. Ask both vendors how the engagement is priced, whether any part of the fee is equity or a token allocation, and what governance or control rights come with it. On the pages we reviewed we did not find published pricing or a published engagement structure for Cryptix, and we do not publish a rate card either. [1](#cmp-src-1) [2](#cmp-src-2)
2. Both published scopes include building the product, so ask each vendor which named team owns delivery and which single party carries the committed ship date. [2](#cmp-src-2)
3. Behind the published figure of 150-plus projects, ask which engagements are contactable references you can speak to about scope, ownership and outcome. [2](#cmp-src-2)

### Commercial risk to watch

- The visible price is not the whole cost; the risk sits in core offering, regulatory / licensing, and the moment scope changes.
- Ask what the vendor is paid to increase: hours, seats, retained advice, platform usage, or shipped outcomes.

### Evidence notes

- Every statement about Cryptix on this page comes from the numbered sources below, each with the date we opened it. Pages change, so re-check them, along with pricing, legal entity, references and terms, before you sign.
- This comparison sets two published scopes side by side. It is not a quality claim about Cryptix AG, and it is not an assertion about how they run their engagements.

## Project fit: not limited to small builds

Project size and provider headcount are separate decisions. Wavect’s delivery unit is a named senior core, but that does not limit the work to MVPs or short startup projects. Larger projects are split into phases with separate budgets and acceptance criteria. We also build internal systems and process automations inside a client’s existing repositories, tooling and workflows. A vetted bench supports continuity and scope-specific capacity. A larger provider may still be the better choice when the main requirement is several parallel teams, an incumbent framework agreement or certifications Wavect does not currently hold.

// 03

## How they actually differ

Six dimensions where Cryptix and Wavect actually diverge.

| WAVECT | DIMENSION | ALTERNATIVE |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Product and engineering. We design, build and ship the software. | CORE OFFERING | End-to-end venture building: product, technology, legal, licensing, treasury and operations, per its published services list. [1](#cmp-src-1) |
| We build to the regulation and bring in counsel. We are not a licensing or treasury shop. | REGULATORY / LICENSING | Published as a core service: MiCA, MiFID II and E-Money licensing support plus crypto treasury. [1](#cmp-src-1) |
| Weekly outcome fee or fixed-price Werkvertrag. No timesheets, cancel any week, and we refund the last week if it did not blow you away. | PRICING MODEL | On the pages we reviewed we did not find published pricing or a published engagement structure. [1](#cmp-src-1) [2](#cmp-src-2) |
| A senior team you direct, founders in the room. | ENGAGEMENT SHAPE | Directors and COO, CTO, CLO and CISO as a service, plus a venture-building squad, per its published offering. [1](#cmp-src-1) |
| The founders doing the work. | WHO YOU ACTUALLY TALK TO | Its executive and venture teams, per its published offering. [1](#cmp-src-1) |
| We do, on a weekly outcome or a fixed-price Werkvertrag, with the founders named on delivery. | WHO BUILDS AND SHIPS | Its published process includes a build step: a cross-disciplinary squad shipping in two-week increments across product, UX, integrations, smart contracts and tokens. [2](#cmp-src-2) |

// 04

## The real difference, in practice

Cryptix publishes an end-to-end venture-building scope out of Zug: regulatory and licensing support for MiCA, MiFID II and E-Money, DAO and token governance, RWA tokenization, crypto treasury, crypto company operations, and directors plus COO, CTO, CLO and CISO as a service. [1](#cmp-src-1) It is registered as Cryptix AG with its seat in Zug, Switzerland. [3](#cmp-src-3) Its published process also includes a build step, described as a cross-disciplinary squad shipping in two-week increments across product, UX, integrations, smart contracts and tokens. [2](#cmp-src-2)

We publish a narrower scope. We design, build and ship software as a senior product and engineering team you hire and direct, and we do not sell licensing, treasury or DAO structuring at all.

So the honest comparison is a scope comparison, not a ranking. If you need the regulatory and corporate layer inside the same engagement, that is on Cryptix’s published list and it is not on ours. [1](#cmp-src-1) If you want to buy the build on its own, from a team whose entire scope is the build, that is us.

The question to put to either vendor is the same: inside your scope, who is named on delivery and who carries the ship date. Ask us that too, and hold both answers to the same standard. See [how we build on-chain products](/services/blockchain/).

## When each is the better call

// 01

### When Wavect is the better call

- Your gap is execution. You need the product designed, built and shipped by senior people, fast.
- You want to keep cash and control. No equity, cancel any week, own the code.
- You already have legal and licensing handled, or do not need them yet, and want engineering that moves.
- You want founders in the room on the product calls, not a layer of account and venture management.

// 02

### When Cryptix is the better call

- Your hardest problem is regulatory: a MiCA, MiFID II or E-Money licensing route, crypto treasury, or a DAO and token governance structure. Cryptix lists all of those on its services page and we sell none of them. [1](#cmp-src-1)
- You want one partner across legal, technology and operations rather than a single-scope vendor. That end-to-end shape is what Cryptix publishes. [1](#cmp-src-1)
- You are a family office or an institution stepping on-chain and need the corporate and compliance scaffold as part of the same engagement. [1](#cmp-src-1)
- You want the boardroom and licensing layer as much as the code. Cryptix publishes directors and C-suite-as-a-service alongside the build. [1](#cmp-src-1)

Cryptix publishes the venture-building scope with licensing and treasury inside it. [1](#cmp-src-1) We publish the build on its own. Compare the two scopes, then talk to us.

## FAQs

### Does Wavect handle crypto licensing and treasury?

No. We build to the regulation and work with your counsel, but MiCA or E-Money licensing and treasury management are not services we sell. Cryptix lists licensing and treasury support on its own services page, so that is one place to start. [1](#cmp-src-1)

### Is Wavect a venture builder?

No. We are a product and engineering team you hire and direct, and we do not take equity or co-own the company. Cryptix publishes an end-to-end venture-building model instead, which is a different purchase rather than a better or worse one. [1](#cmp-src-1)

### We need both the product and the licensing. What then?

Common situation. One route is a venture builder or your own counsel for the regulatory and treasury layer, with us on the software. Cryptix publishes both layers inside one scope, so ask them and us the same question: who is named on delivery and who carries the date. [1](#cmp-src-1)

### Do you take equity instead of cash?

No. We are a service business: cash for outcomes, cancel any week. On the pages we reviewed we did not find a published engagement structure for Cryptix, so ask them directly what theirs involves before you compare. [1](#cmp-src-1) [2](#cmp-src-2)

### Has Wavect shipped funded Web3 products?

Yes. We have built crypto payment and RWA products that raised real money and ran in production. See [LivLive](/case-studies/livlive/) and [Scramble Pay](/case-studies/scramble-pay/).
