Wavect wins the Tiroler Jungunternehmerpreis 2026 for new ideas, products and markets
First place for Wavect: Junge Wirtschaft Tirol has recognised our team in the category “Neue Ideen – Neue Produkte – Neue Märkte” at the Tiroler Jungunternehmer:innenpreis 2026. That is the category for new ideas, new products and new markets. The result is published in the official winners list.
We are proud of this recognition and grateful to the clients, partners and people who build with us. Turning an idea into a useful product takes trust, candid conversations and a great deal of work. This award is a moment to celebrate that shared effort.
Which award did Wavect win?
- Award: Tiroler Jungunternehmer:innenpreis 2026, Tyrol’s young entrepreneur award.
- Result: first place in “Neue Ideen – Neue Produkte – Neue Märkte”.
- Organiser: Junge Wirtschaft Tirol.
- Official announcement: 21 October 2026.
The WK Tirol announcement recognises ten businesses across three main categories and a special Start-up category. Congratulations to all the other recipients.

What the category recognises
The published category criteria focus on young businesses using new technologies or opening up new markets. Applications are assessed on customer value, innovation, market positioning, business organisation, financial viability and growth potential.
That combination matters to us. A digital product needs a clear purpose, people who benefit from it and a business that can sustain it. The technical implementation has to serve those goals. It is the connection between entrepreneurship and engineering that makes this category especially meaningful for Wavect.

From a product idea to software people use
Wavect is a founder-led software product studio from Tyrol. Kevin Riedl and Christof Jori work directly with clients on digital products, AI and automation. Our work spans custom web and mobile applications, integrations and blockchain technology.
Our approach starts with a practical question: what should become easier, faster or possible for the people using this product? From there, we connect product decisions, implementation and quality assurance. Clear scope, early feedback and a maintainable system matter throughout delivery.
For a closer look at the work behind that approach, explore our Twinsoft AI case study. If you are considering a project, our guide to choosing a software agency offers practical questions to bring to the first conversation.
Thank you to everyone building with us
Thank you to Junge Wirtschaft Tirol and the jury for the recognition, and to our clients, partners and team for their trust and commitment. We are delighted to see software, AI and entrepreneurship from Tyrol recognised in this way.
We are taking that encouragement into the next projects. Learn about our custom software development or tell us about the product you want to build.
